The GA-2 features dedicated modes for guitars and basses, including seven-string guitars and six-string basses. A built-in microphone allows for tuning not only acoustic guitars but also other instruments like woodwinds and brass. You can also tune by ear using the Sound Out mode, which emits a reference tone.
For metal players and those using dropped tunings, the Quinta Flat tuning mode supports tunings down to five semitones below standard. This mode is ideal for guitars with longer scales. The tuner displays frequency values between A430 and A450 directly on the meter, allowing for quick adjustments without changing calibration modes. Powered by two AAA batteries, the GA-2 offers 100 to 200 hours of continuous use, depending on battery quality.
