HI-DEF NEONâ„¢ PINK Colored Electric Guitar Strings: Medium 10-46

HI-DEF NEONâ„¢ Color Coated Electric Guitar Strings are available in a wide variety of luminescent color options designed to give your stage presence a little extra pop, especially under UV black lighting. They feature a hexagonal core wire and a silver-plated nickel-plated steel wrap on the wound strings. All strings include the neon colored K3â„¢ coating, delivering longevity, more projection, fewer unwanted overtones, plus enhanced clarity and articulation.

K3â„¢ Coated applied to the wrap wire is extra hard to maintain string brightness while extending life

The coating eliminates unwanted overtones, helping projection, clarity and articulation

Dayglow coating is luminescent under black lights or uv lights

Horrible!

I bought these strings for fun just to see how it would look on my guitar. I expected these strings not to be high quality but, wow, these strings are just HORRIBLE! I strung up my guitar and in less than 15 minutes of moderate playing (I estimate about 30% of) the coating of the unwound strings flaked off onto my guitar. Not only does this look bad but, more importantly, seriously diminishes playability. My fingers then slide over rough, flaking strings. Ouch!

Cute idea...terrible execution!
