I bought this string as one component of my custom gauge set, 17-20-26-38-52-70 for tuning a 25.5-inch scale length guitar to C-standard and drop A#. I haven't put these strings on my guitar yet, but I bought them because my favorite musician, Ben Burnley, uses Ernie Ball strings, so based simply on that, they get five stars.
