I don't understand the context of George W's review. My questions being: when the string was put on the guitar, what string did it replace, was it replacing another type of string, which is what I suspect, and if so, why put on a 'foundling' and expect it to easily fit in? 'Throwing on' a 'random' string strikes me as courting disappointment.

This string does not have the beautiful color and tone of traditional nylon. Plays very easy and tunes well in all registers. But the tone is not desirable for Classical Guitar music.
