Classic electric guitar string tone dates back to the 1950's when pure nickel was the primary alloy used. As the need for brighter tone and higher magnetic strings grew in the 60's, nickelplated steel became the industry standard. EPN115's combine the playability of D'Addario's popular medium gauge set with a warmer, vintage tone.

Made with a high carbon steel core and pure nickel wrap wire, these electric strings revive the rich, clean tones heard in early blues, rock & roll, and country music. This 11-48 Medium gauge set provides increased volume, with slightly more tension and resistance.
