These picks can produce a range of well balanced tones and for my picking style, which is a lighter jazz type, they're just perfect. Many jazz players prefer a smaller, heavier jazz pick but I find that many of those lack accuracy of attack. The Tortex allows me to get that accurate tone and control the amount of attack I want. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they really could use a better grip, they tend to slip a little. Otherwise, they continue to be my favorites!
