GHS Electric Bass Black Nylon Tapewound, .050 - .105, 3060

Tapewound bass strings combine the thump and decay of an upright bass string, while retaining the characteristics of an electric bass string. GHS Strings uses a mix of roundwound and flatwound strings, with a black nylon tape over them for the final wrap. The result is an ultra-smooth, lower tension feel with a delightfully deep, mellow tone.

Please Note: Due to the construction process, GHS does not recommend using our tapewound strings on a thru-body bridge. Doing so can expose the final nylon cover to sharp edges, causing it to tear and unravel.
