Argento Pure Silver

"Created for players who demand a purity of tone, the Argento Pure Silver set includes handmade bass strings with a rich sonority superior to any plated wound string available on the market. When played, the initial articulated note does not fluctuate from pitch but reveals a penetrating sound in the bass register. This can only be achieved with 99% solid silver wire. Any other less precious metal cannot duplicate their long-lasting sound and substantial feel. La Bella Nylon #202 treble strings are the perfect counterpart to the Argento pure silver basses. These trebles are extruded as a monofilament that will not fray and offer an uunmatched aural transparency and extraordinary sound production. The packets also include a set of rectified nylon trebles. In contrast to the more traditional glass-smooth Nylon #202 trebles, these special formula high-density buffed strings have a finely textured surface and are perfectly balanced for the basses. Noiseless and durable, these quality trebles maintain both clarity and memory for pitch."

These are the finest strings I've ever plucked. I hope you get more in stock. I need that second set.

These are very good strings indeed and a real step forward from anything else I have tried. The sound is focused and there is none of the initial wobbling of pitch. This means they intonate well and hence sounds very full and strong despite their soft feel - I tried medium tension. The smooth surface also makes it easy to control string noise, so much so that I cannot see how the polished model can improve on this quality. Highly recommended.

I was given a set of the La Bella Argento strings by a La Bella sales rep. at a guitar show. I never would have spent the money on my own. I have fallen too many times for high priced strings that are no better than the average selling product. The La Bella Argento set is worth every penny! It makes my guitar sound like a new instrument. I have had the same set on for five months, playing two and three hours a day. There is still not a mark under the strings where the fret meets. The sound and feel are the best part.
